CBC signs broadcast deal with Canadian Paralympic Committee

CBC/Radio-Canada has signed an agreement with the Canadian Paralympic Committee to broadcast the 2024 and 2026 Paralympic Games, which will take place in Paris and Milano-Cortina respectively. The committee has been the rightsholder of the games since 2014. During that time, broadcasts were handled by CBC/Radio-Canada and a consortium of other companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, CBC/Radio-Canada will handle the sublicensing the rights as the official broadcaster of the games. The broadcaster will provide coverage of the games on its television, streaming and digital properties in English and French.

“We are proud to renew our commitment to presenting the very best in sport through our partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee,” said Catherine Tait, president and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada. “As Canada's Paralympic network, it is a privilege to bring audiences the joy of watching Canada's talented Paralympians as they compete on the world stage.”
