MXZN joins Canadian Paralympic Media Consortium

Video content company MXZN has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Paralympic Committee. Through this agreement, MXZN will join the Canadian Paralympic Media Consortium for the Tokyo 2020 games. The company will install video station in various athletic venues which will act as remote digital content capture devices. The technology includes a height-adjustable touchscreen, camera, microphone and lighting which athletes can use to speak directly to the audience after a competition. The video will be posted to various social media services and used by broadcast media outlets.

“The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will be like no other games in history,” said Martin Richard, executive director of communications and branding a the Canadian Paralympic Committee. “We have had to adapt significantly in order to keep our athletes safe and healthy at the games, while still working towards providing world-class coverage and shining a spotlight on the team. Even though we are not able to have as much of an onsite media presence in Tokyo, MXZN will allow us to still hear directly from Canada's remarkable Paralympians and share their performances and personal stories with audiences across the nation through a variety of channels.”
