Doug Frith has been named chairman of Hill and Knowlton Canada, filling a void left at the public relations firm when Rick Anderson departed for parts unknown during the summer. Firth, a former member of Parliament, remains co-head of the government relations unit in the Toronto office. Laurelea Conrad has taken the position of executive vice-president of strategic development while keeping her job as co-director of the specialty services group in Toronto. David Crapper, who for the past five years has been manager of the Ottawa office of Decima Research, has been named executive vice-president in charge of research services across Canada.
