CHOCOLATE BEATS OUT SEX AGAIN

Thirty-eight per cent of Canadian women prefer chocolate over sex, according to a survey for the Confectionery Manufacturers Association of Canada done by Decima Research of Toronto. This is up from 27% in the first such survey last year. In Quebec 74% of respondents confessed that their taste for chocolate was stronger than lust. The sexiest province was Nova Scotia where 80% prefer the bedroom to a chocolate bar. Forty-one per cent of all respondents in the survey said they eat chocolate or other candy. The study found that 22% of Canadians turn to sweets for an energy boost, 21% to alleviate a stressful day and 19% to lift their spirits. Alberta is the province with the sweetest tooth; 90% of people surveyed said they occasionally indulge.
