AIR ONTARIO 'STILL THE ONE'

Regional carrier Air Ontario launched a campaign in six of its markets last week promoting itself as a choice airline. Outdoor, print, point-of-purchase and radio ads, created by MacPhee Jesson of Toronto, are running in Sarnia, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Windsor and London. Using a theme song that is an adaptation of the Orlean's tune Still The One, the ads make the claim that people in the targeted markets prefer to fly Air Ontario over other regional carriers. In April, Air Ontario launched a two-month promotion in which customers received Air Ontario HELLO! Phone Pass cards for 10 minutes of free long-distance calling anywhere in Ontario.
