CD TO RAISE MONEY FOR BREAST CANCER

The Canadian Cancer Society, Campbell Soup Company and Attic Records have joined forces to launch a CD to raise money for breast cancer research in Canada. Called In Between Dances, the CD will be available beginning Sept. 20, and will feature music by artists including Susan Agulkark, Jann Arden, Holly Cole, Patricia Conroy, Sara Craig, Celine Dion, k.d. lang, Loreena McKennitt and Jacki Ralph Jamieson, who spearheaded the project, and who is a three-time cancer survivor. Public service announcements for the CD will begin when it hits music stores using print, radio and TV created by Harrod & Mirlin of Toronto. Money raised will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Initiative. The CBCRI is a partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute of Canada, the Medical Research Council and Health Canada.
