Canadian Cancer Society breaks new campaign

The Canadian Cancer Society, in collaboration with The Now Group, has begun a new advertising campaign that encourages elected officials and policy makers to improve palliative and end-of-life care in Canada. According to the organization, the campaign seeks to address stigmas associated with the discussion of death and dying. It is intended to provide a “positive framing to encourage a dialogue and create political will to invest in palliative care.” The campaign related the real stories of four individuals to ilustrate how palliative care helps people to live well during a serious illness.
