Cobs Bread resumes Hot Cross Buns Day promotion

Baked goods company Cobs Bread is preparing to resume a promotion called “Hot Cross Buns Day” for a second year. On Feb. 21, consumers who visit a participating Cobs location and perform the song Hot Cross Buns on any instrument will receive a free hot cross bun. The promotion will be supported with social media content and influencer activities. The initiative was developed by Rethink, with media work by Epitaph.
“The overwhelming support we saw from last year’s Hot Cross Buns Day was a clear indication of the vital role music plays in shaping the next generation,” said Aaron Gillespie, president of Cobs Bread. “We’re so excited to bring back Hot Cross Buns Day this year to help celebrate aspiring young musicians and the joy of making music at any level.”
