McCain releases Breakfast Pockets Pockets collection

McCain Foods Canada of Toronto has begun a promotion in support of its new Breakfast Pockets product line. Aimed primarily at teenagers, the promotion features a collection of branded apparel incorporating insulated pockets which can be used to keep the breakfast food warm. The collection was designed by Hayley Elsaesser and consists of a jacket, a hooded sweatshirt, and cargo pants. The clothing will be sold for a limited time at <http://www.pocketspockets.ca>. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Grocery Foundation's Toonies for Tummies program, which works to alleviate youth hunger in Canadian schools.

“The branded merch trend is so big right now, and we saw a great opportunity to have some fun with it,” said Matt Kohler, Canadian retail managing director at McCain. “We worked with the incredible Canadian designer Hayley Elsaesser to create a line that's a little ridiculous but very functional and on point with current trends. With their 90-second prep time, our Breakfast Pockets are a convenient and delicious choice for teens to start the day, but we wanted to up the convenience factor even more. That's how the Breakfast Pockets Pockets Collection was born.”
