Meridian resumes Small Business Big Impact Awards

Meridian Credit Union of Toronto has begun a contest promotion aimed at Ontario small businesses. Called the “Small Business Big Impact Awards,” the effort is intended to recognize businesses that have had a positive effect on environmental and social causes. Nominations can be submitted by Ontario residents until Oct. 31. Entrants will be evaluated by a selection committee on the basis of quality of content, impact, business model, values and community support. The prize pool is values at approximately $65,000, including cash prizes for the top three winners of $25,000, $15,000, and $5,000. This is the second year the credit union has conducted this promotion.
