Culinary Tourism Alliance continues Feast On the Farm events

The Toronto-based Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance is preparing additional events for its ongoing “Feast On the Farm” promotion. The initiative, which is sponsored by RBC, consists of a series of ticketed outdoor events featuring local food and beverage products. The series is intended to support tourism recovery efforts following the COVID-19 pandemic as part of its “Great Taste of Ontario” program. The next event will take place on Sept. 18 at Slabtown Cider in Uxbridge, ON. It will be followed by an event on Sept. 25 at Bison du Nord in Earlton, ON. Additional events will take place on Oct. 2 at the Duntroon Cyder House in Duntroon, ON and Oct. 16 at Vineland Estates Winery in Vineland, ON.

“The effects of the pandemic continue to affect the tourism and hospitality industries in devastating ways,” said alliance president and CEO Rebecca Mackenzie. “This event series allows folks to experience the tastes of place unique to each destination with flavours curated by the best of Ontario's culinary talent, all while supporting recovery in the industry and contributing meaningfully to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.”
