Bennewies departs Ipsos

Gary Bennewies will retire from the position of chief executive officer of market research firm Ipsos Canada on Sept. 1. He began his career in 1985 at Angus Reid, later acquired by the company that is now Ipsos. He was twice the company’s country manager for Canada, as well as chief talent officer. Cynthia Pachovski will act as interim CEO during the selection process for a replacement. She will also continue to be president of market strategy and understanding in Canada. Prior to joining Ipsos two years ago, Pachovski headed Nielsen’s Consumer Insights and Media Digital Divisions in Canada. She was also general manager of Ipsos France.
