Swerve gains five accounts

Toronto-based marketing communications agency Swerve has recently gained five new accounts. Cabinetry company Kitch, home appliance company Tineco, children’s clothing designer Nest Designs, clothing designer Hatley and puzzle company ThinkFun have retained the firm as their agency of record.

“The incredible growth that Swerve is currently experiencing is not just great news for us as a business, but a positive sign for the PR and marketing industry as a whole,” said Andrew Wagar, president and CEO of Swerve. “The entire nation is beginning to move towards a more normal business environment. It has been an extremely challenging past 12-plus months, and everyone in the Canadian public relations, events and marketing community should be proud of how we as an industry have managed it, and be excited for brighter days ahead.”

In related news, Swerve has recently appointed Carrie Sanders to the position of vice-president of strategy. Kristi Iannuzzi and Stephanie Kilpatrick have joined the firm as account managers. Samantha Machan has joined the agency as a senior PR specialist. Victoria Rakoczy has been hired as a community and content specialist.
