McDonald's readies BTS Meal promotion

Toronto-based fast food chain McDonald’s Canada is preparing a promotion in association with South Korean pop music group BTS. Beginning May 26, McDonald’s locations nationally will begin selling a BTS Meal consisting of 10 Chicken McNuggets with fries, a soft drink and dipping sauces “inspired by popular recipes from McDonald's South Korea.” The offer is part of an international promotion that will take place in 50 countries.
“No matter who you are, everyone has a go-to order at McDonald’s, even international superstars like BTS,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, chief marketing officer at McDonald’s Canada. “This band is a global phenomenon with a fanbase that knows no borders, and we couldn't be more excited to bring the BTS Meal to our guests in Canada starting next month.”
