Lowe's hires 1Milk2Sugars

Home improvement retail chain Lowe’s Canada has retained 1Milk2Sugars of Toronto as its consumer public relations agency of record. The assignment includes PR support for three chains operated by the company: Lowe’s, Rona and Reno-Depot. Collectively, they represent 470 locations nationally. 1Milk2Sugars won the account in a request-for-proposals process.

“With Canadians needing to make their homes better more than ever before, we required a marketing partner that grasped our commitment to helping homeowners and tenants remodel or renovate their living space,” said Catherine Laporte, vice-president of marketing at Lowe’s Canada. “It was clear from the outset that the Sugars did their homework and were genuinely interested in our brands, our mission and being an extension of our team.”
