Scotiabank conducts Talk With Our Kids About Money Day event

Today Scotiabank participated in a national promotional initiative called "Talk With Our Kids About Money Day" in association with the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education. The effort consists of educational presentations at schools and other special events intended to improve the financial capabilities of young people. As part of the initiative, Scotiabank conducted a "money fair" in downtown Toronto featuring hockey player Nick Kypreos. This is the sixth year of the program.
"At Scotiabank, we're proud to support organizations that share our belief that investing in young people is an investment in the long-term well-being of our communities," said Ahmad Dajani, vice-president of operating practices and financial literacy at Scotiabank. "That's why we're so excited to support the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education with their program aimed at young people, 'Talk With Our Kids About Money.' We know that supporting programs like this is crucial to helping young people reach their infinite potential."
