CRTC issues call for public comments

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has issued a call for consumer opinions regarding applications received to operate a multilingual, multi-ethnic channel. The new channel would be classified for mandatory distribution nationally. and would have a particular focus on national, regional and local news and information content produced from a Canadian point of view. The CRTC has received eight applications meeting these criteria.
