Rogers begins MLSE LaunchPad initiative

Rogers Communications of Toronto has begun an initiative in association with MLSE LaunchPad. Through this initiative, the company will provide financial support for five years to "Sport for Development," and MLSE LaunchPad facility that provides youth training in life skills through sport. The effort will primarily support the organization's work in Toronto's Moss Park neighbourhood. The programs are intended to promote academic engagement and positive attitudes towards school while being physically active.
"Rogers is committed to helping youth in the Toronto community reach their full potential and MLSE LaunchPad is the perfect teammate to help us make this commitment a reality," said Peter King, senior director of corporate social responsibility at Rogers. "We want to ensure that MLSE LaunchPad's Ready for School programs can continue to inspire and motivate our youth for years to come."
