Toyota hires Casacom

Automaker Toyota Canada has retained Casacom of Montreal as its public relations agency for Quebec. The firm won the account in a request-for-proposals process. The assignment also includes Quebec media relations, government affairs and corporate communications for the company's Toyota and Lexus brands. Casacom will also participate in experiential marketing initiatives in collaboration with Vibrant Marketing.
"Casacom demonstrated a strong ability to help TCI establish a dedicated PR presence in the province of Quebec and is best equipped to understand the unique tone of the Quebec market," said Dave Nichols, national manager of external affairs at Toyota Canada. "We hope this will serve to foster solid relationships with Quebec media."
