Toyota begins Cars For Good program

Toronto-based automaker Toyota Canada has begun a giveaway promotion called “Cars For Good.” The national program is intended to provide support to local organizations working to reduce barriers to movement and improve physical accessibility. Eligible Canadian not-for-profit organizations can apply to receive one of 2021 Toyota vehicles, modified for increased physical accessibility. Three additional organizations will each receive $5,000 to support their work. Applications will be accepted until April 19 at <https://www.toyota.ca/carsforgood>. The entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges specializing in accessibility issues.

“Toyota is committed to creating a more inclusive society where everyone can move freely,” said Cyril Dimitris, vice-president of sales and marketing at Toyota Canada. “This year, we’re excited to launch the Toyota ‘Cars For Good’ giveaway program, recognizing local organizations in communities across Canada that are taking steps to break down barriers to movement for all Canadians.”
