Ikea hires Rethink Communications

Furniture retail chain Ikea Canada has retained Rethink Communications as its creative agency of record. The agency won the account in a four-month review process. The assignment includes Ikea advertising creative for all media in Canada.
"As an independent, owner-operated agency, Rethink offers a like-minded partnership and business approach," said Lauren MacDonald, country marketing manager at Ikea Canada. "Similar to our co-worker recruitment strategy, we were seeking a team comprising humble, down-to-earth and straightforward people who are driven to fulfill the Ikea vision to create a better everyday life for the many people in Canada."
