TD Bank Group debuts new branding

The Toronto-based TD Bank Group has undertaken a rebranding initiative making use of the tagline, "Ready for you." The branding retains the use of the company's green armchair visual. According to the company, the new brand is intended to be more modern and to convey that TD offers "personal solutions that will help deliver confidence." It will appear in advertising, online properties, social media pages, community initiatives and in new products and services. This is the first update to the banks branding since introducing the armchair and "Banking can be this comfortable" tagline 17 years ago.

"At TD, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and as their needs evolve, so too have our services and how we portray ourselves," said Theresa McLaughlin, chief marketing officer at TD Bank Group. "We established this new creative platform to communicate our confidence positioning, which about being ready to meet our customers' unique needs. We're focusing on how we can help people become more financially ready. This evolution of the TD brand builds on the tremendous equity that we are grateful to have created over time with our customers, establishing a new, distinct position in the market."
