New chief product officer at GroupM
GroupM of New York has promoted Jack Smith to the position of chief product officer for North America. He will work to develop media products and services for various GroupM agencies in the US and Canada. Was most recently chief strategy officer for GroupM's data and technology services. Prior to that, he was chief technology officer for the company's programmatic product GroupM Connect. He was also head of strategy at 24/7 Real Media. GroupM is the media management subsidiary of WPP, encompassing Mindshare, MEC, MediaCom, Maxus, Essence and MSix.
