Boston Pizza debuts Team HQ loyalty program

Mississauga-based restaurant chain Boston Pizza has introduced a new loyalty program aimed at amateur sports teams called "Team HQ." The digital program is currently available in Ontario and Saskatchewan, with a national roll-out scheduled for later this year. The program is intended to promote Boston Pizza as a place for sports teams to gather after a game. Participants will receive a 10% food credit whenever they make a purchase. Teams will also be able to receive badges and engage in competitions with each other.

"Whether talking strategy or just extending the good times, the post-game get together is just as important as the game itself," said James Kawalecki, director of marketing at Boston Pizza. "Team HQ is our way to give back and make the post-game even more rewarding. Through our testing and research, we found that our guests love the ability to track their food credits and compete for status with their teammates, conveniently from either their mobile device or computer."
