Warner Bros. conducts Fantastic Beasts campaign

Warner Bros. Pictures Canada has begun a promotion for its upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in association with Bell Media. The campaign, which will run until the film's release on Nov. 18, includes exposure on various Bell Media properties. A 30-second commercial is running on ETalk, Your Morning, Innerspace, Much and E. The campaign also includes a contest component during which two finalists will compete in a trivia contest on ETalk. The winner will attend a press event in Toronto to meet the film's cast. The initiative also includes a 30-minute program that will air on ETalk on Nov. 18 featuring interviews with the director and cast members.

Additional elements include special segments on ETalk, Innerspace and Your Morning, as well as an online video at Much.com. Radio promotion will take place on IHeartRadio Canada stations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto and Halifax, consisting of on-air exposure, online materials and on-site prize giveaways.

"Once again, our ongoing partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures Canada has enabled us to roll out an multi-faceted campaign with exclusive, customized content reaching Canadians across the country," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media. "Our campaign provides viewers with once-in-a-lifetime contest opportunities, engaging content, ticket giveaways and targeted media coverage leading up to the film's theatrical release."
