Warner Bros. conducts Dawn of Justice campaign with Bell Media

Warner Bros. Pictures Canada has begun a campaign with Bell Media in support of the upcoming release of its movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The campaign includes a contest component that will be run through its CTV property ETalk. The winner will receive a trip for two to London, England to attend a premiere screening of the film on March 25. Consumers can enter the contest online at <http://www.ukpremierecontest.ca>. It is being supported with on-air exposure, commercials and giveaways. ETalk will also provide daily editorial content about the movie.

Bell Media will also produce a 30-minute program called Innerspace: Batman v Superman that will air on Space on March 25. Space.ca will host an element called the "Ultimate Coin Contest," the winner of which will receive a gold coin, a silver coin set and a set of base-metal coins and collector cards from the Royal Canadian Mint. A 30-second commercial is promoting the contest, accompanied by social media activities.

The movie is also a premiere sponsor of March Madness basketball tournament coverage on TSN. The sponsorship includes a co-branded commercial featuring two characters called Bruce and Clark. Video vignettes about the film will air on specialty channel Much from March 21 to 25. Bell Media radio stations from its CHUM and Virgin Radio brands will also contribute promotional content, live location broadcasts and ticket giveaways in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

"The highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is positioned to be one of the biggest films this year, and we're proud that our ongoing partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures Canada continues to deliver direct access to such blockbuster films," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media. "We have teamed up for a holistic, cross-platform partnership that will provide viewers with engaging content, exciting contests, and targeted media coverage leading up to the film's theatrical release."
