Corus releases new YTV, Nickelodeon apps

Corus Entertainment has released two new mobile applications for its YTV and Nickelodeon specialty television channels. The applications, called YTVGo and NickGo, are available for free to subscribers to the channels. They offer live streaming access to the channels, as well as on-demand episodes of the shows that air on them. The application, which were developed in association with Ottawa-based You.i TV, are available for Android and Apple devices.
"The YTV and Nick apps allow kids and families to customize their programming and experience these fun and interactive brands wherever and whenever they choose," said Colin Bohm, executive vice-president and head of Corus Kids. "In addition to delivering the live brand experience, these kids apps also give us the flexibility to exclusively premiere series and sample exciting new content."
