BC Health Regulators conducts awareness campaign

BC Health Regulators of Vancouver has begun a public awareness campaign intended to encourage residents of British Columbia to get their health services from licensed health care professionals. The campaign consists of television and online advertising using the tagline, "Saying you are one doesn't make you one." The creative depicts children acting as health care workers and offering treatments intended to be humorous. The intent is to raise awareness of the risks associated with patronizing unlicensed individuals. BC Health Regulators represents 23 colleges responsible for regulating 26 health professions.
