REMTULLA SNAGS NEW BUSINESSES

Remtulla + Associates of Toronto has had a busy autumn. The agency got an another piece of business from pharmaceutical company Knoll Pharma. The new drug is a once-a-day morphine pain reliever called Kadian, which was introduced in October. Remtulla was given the business without a review. It already creates ads for Knoll's Synthroid, Dilaudid and Rythmol products. Advertising for the drug will begin next year. Remtulla also won a piece of business from SmithKline Beecham, handling a product which is to be launched next year. The agency won the business in October in a competition with three other agencies. Hoffman La Roche recently handed its entire cardiology line of products to Remtulla. The agency won in a competition with Mediawise and Lally Macfarland, both of Toronto. Eli Lilly gave the agency more business. Remtulla is handling advertising for its Reopro cardiology drug that introduced earlier in the fall. Remtulla got the business without a review. It already handles advertising for Lilly's Ceclor, Axid and Humatrope products. Over the summer, Remtulla picked up the ProBeta business from Allergan. ProBeta is a treatment for Glaucoma that was launched in the summer. The agency got the business without a review. It already handles other Allergan advertising.
