CBC begins Canada House promotion

CBC/Radio-Canada has begun a street promotion in Toronto called "CBC Canada House." The promotion takes the form of an installation in downtown Toronto at which consumers can view samples of the broadcaster's fall programming lineup, meet various CBC personalities and engage in a number of family activities. The temporary studio will also serve as a live audience background for CBC News Toronto broadcasts. The promotion also includes prize giveaways and a Facebook-based contest. The installation will be located at the corner of King St. and Blue Jays Way from Sept. 4 to 7.
