Royal Ontario Museum promotes Forbidden City exhibit

The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto has begun a promotional campaign called "Take a Selfie with the Emperor" supporting its current exhibit of artifacts from the Forbidden City in China. The campaign makes use of a transit shelter ad at Yonge-Dundas Square. Consumers can use the ad to take pictures of themselves with the Emperor of China. Consumers who post these pictures to Twitter will receive a $5 discount on admission to the exhibition. The overall campaign for the exhibit also includes national television, radio, digital, out-of-home and print advertising. The campaign will run until Sept. 1.
