Unilever Canada signs Subban as spokesperson

Unilever Canada has signed an agreement with professional hockey player P.K. Subban to be a spokesperson for its antiperspirant brand Degree for the rest of the year. Subban will participate in a marketing campaign for the product line called "Do:More" that will encourage consumers to continuously improve. Subban will also appear on a Sportsnet program called The Next Level, which is sponsored by Degree. He will lead the series, during which 10 professional athletes will tell their personal stories. The series premiered on May 1.

"Collaborating with P.K. Subban is a natural fit for Degree," said Michelle St. Jacques, marketing director at Unilever Canada. "His perseverance and passion for continually improving his game is in perfect alignment with our brand philosophy. We're excited to be working with him to encourage Canadians to Do:More."
