Hadfield receives CPRS President's Award

The Canadian Public Relations Society has awarded its 2014 President's Award for Outstanding Public Relations and Communications Management to astronaut Chris Hadfield. The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership through communications.
"I'm thrilled to present Col. Hadfield with the President's Award on behalf of the CPRS board of directors," said Richard Truscott, national president of the society. "Chris was the face of not only the Canadian space program, but of the world's collaborative mission while he commanded the International Space Station. Through his remarkable, unique and personal approach, Chris was able to communicate with the people of the world, inspire the next generation of astronauts and scientists, and engage everyone in the conversation about space and Earth."
