OAAC BILLI AWARDS

The Outdoor Advertising Association of Canada presented the 18th annual Billi awards last night. Gold winners were: BBDO Vancouver, Dominion Directory Company; Palmer Jarvis Communications, McDonald's Restaurants of Canada and Leo Burnett Company, Fruit of the Loom Inc. Silver winners were: Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising, Royal Ontario Museum; Leo Burnett, Fruit of the Loom Inc. and Roche Macaulay, Maple Leaf Foods. Bronze winners were: Cossette Communication-Marketing, General Motors of Canada; Roche Macaulay, Maple Leaf Foods and BBDO Vancouver, Dominion Directory. Lowe/SMS won a gold Billi in the public service category for work it did for the Kids Help Foundation. Hershey Canada's "a hole lot of flavour" creative execution was inducted into the Hall of Fame. the ad was created by Carder Gray Advertising of Toronto.
