CDMA GAINS TORONTO AFFILIATE
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Direct Marketing Association announced this week that the Direct Marketing Association of Toronto has become an officially affiliated organization. DMAT is a Toronto-based association that serves as a networking forum for direct marketers. About half of its 440 members are employed by corporate members of CDMA. As an affiliate, DMAT will be able to display the CDMA logo on its promotional material and other literature, lending creedence to its reputation as a responsible outfit. Only DMAT members whose companies are also CDMA members may use it. DMAT joins six other regional direct marketing organizations that are already part of the CMDA structure: British Columbia, Calgary, Manitoba, Ottawa, Quebec and the Maritimes. DMAT president Lou Tucci will also join the CDMA board of directors.
