The Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area has launched a new mobile version of its website at <http://www.torontoed.com>. The site, developed by BStreet Communications of Toronto, is intended to be a guide to the organization's business directories, special offers and events. It also makes use of geo-locating to map nearby points of interest for mobile users. "We couldn't be more excited to provide Toronto Entertainment District residents and visitors the ability to easily access our resources from their mobile devices," said Erin Kretz, marketing manager for the organization. "This will enhance our website offering by providing visitors an accessible tool to help navigate all the businesses available to them within the Toronto Entertainment District." The Toronto Entertainment District BIA is a non-profit organization that promotes economic and cultural activity in the region of the city roughly bounded by Bay St., Spadina Ave., Queen St. W. and the Gardiner Expressway.
