The Aldo Group retains Narrative PR

Footwear retailer The Aldo Group has appointed Narrative PR of Toronto its public relations agency of record in Canada. This is the first time the company has retained a Canadian AOR for public relations. The assignment includes all four of the company's retail chains: Aldo, Call It Spring, Globo and Little Burgundy. Work will include press previews, media relations, celebrity placements, event support and crisis management. Global public relations strategy, as well as PR in Quebec, will continue to be handled in-house by Aldo. "There was an obvious synergy between our teams from the beginning," said Wendie Godbout, public relations director for Aldo. "Narrative demonstrated a keen understanding of our brands, approaching each one with a distinct and creative point of view. With a strong mix of fashion and corporate PR experts dedicated to the account, Narrative PR will undoubtedly become a key factor in allowing us to successfully execute our initiatives across Canada."
