Fashion magazine LouLou has launched a new shopping website at LouLouShopping.com. The site allows visitors to browse products in a catalog format, share items via social media, and click through to the websites of retailers to make purchases. The site also contains fashion advice on subjects such as assembling an outfit, beauty products and accessories. Other features include recommendations from the editors and user-generated suggestions. In addition, the site has launched with a section sponsored by footwear company The Aldo Group. "LouLouShopping.com is a shopping community and offers our readers and clients a bridge between brand expertise and the one-stop shopping experience," said magazine publisher Marie-José Desmarais. "It is the perfect combination of curated merchandise and relevant partner content coupled with LouLou style advice, positioning LouLouShopping.com to be a favourite among online shoppers and e-fashionistas."
