Gaz Metro breaks Blue Effect campaign
By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based energy company Gaz Métro has begun a new advertising campaign called "The Blue Effect." The intent of the campaign is to promote the economic and environmental advantages of natural gas. The four-week campaign, developed by Sid Lee, consists of three 15-second television commercials, supported by print and online advertising in Quebec. "For 10 years now, 'blue' has been the public face of natural gas," said Valérie Sapin, marketing director at Gaz Métro. "Many are familiar with Gaz Métro and the comfort of natural gas, but few know of its effectiveness for businesses, industries and all advantages to society. Natural gas is not only a source of energy, but also an immediate available solution to combine environment, economy and society."
