Zwilling J.A. Henckels hires NKPR

Kitchenware company Zwilling J.A. Henckels has retained NKPR of Toronto as its public relations agency or record in Canada. NKPR support the company's first-year brand-building initiatives for its Zwilling brand of knives and cookware, including media relations, events and partnerships. The program began will activities intended to attract consumers to the Zwilling.ca website for several new product launches on April 15. The agency will also support marketing efforts for other brands including Miyabi, Demeyere and Staub. "We were looking for an agency that has the relationships, reach and expertise with which to engage our target consumers," said David Hale, vice-president of sales and marketing at Zwilling J.A. Henckels. "NKPR helps raise brand awareness with out-of-the-box creative programs that are backed by sharp, strategic thinking. They are the conduit we were looking for to showcase the unparalleled quality, breadth and versatility of Zwilling's catalog and our multi-brand portfolio." NKPR has handled public relations for the company's Tweezerman personal grooming brand for the past year.
