BPR rebrands as Sugo Communications

Toronto-based BPR, formerly Butter PR, has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The agency will now operate as Sugo Communications. Sugo, the Italian word for “sauce” is intended to convey that the agency can make something or someone successful or distinctive, according to the company. The rebranding coincides with the agency’s expansion to the US with the opening of an office in Los Angeles. The firm specializes in hospitality industry clients such as restaurants, wine and spirits companies, food companies, hotels and spas, among others. Its services also include media relations, influencer engagement and corporate communications. The firm’s clients include Pluck Tea, Pizzeria Libretto, Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, The Cheesecake Factory, Eataly, Cuisine Adventures, Mazola, Fleischmann’s and Jackson Family Wines.

“For over a decade our agency has been known to provide our clients with the most exceptional service, creative and out-of the box ideas and award-winning strategies,” says Shawn Rusich, CEO of Sugo Communications. “With a team of brilliant minds and seamless cross-border services, Sugo is powerful and rare, and has come to be known as a strong strategic partner to all of our clients both legacy and new.”
