Kobo conducts North Pole Glo campaign

E-book reader company Kobo is conducting a holiday-themed advertising campaign called "North Pole Glo." The effort includes television and print advertising, as well as a website at <http://www.northpoleglo.com>. The campaign uses the tagline, "The Magic Behind Every Story." The website features a globe dotted with points of light. Each light represents someone who has used the site to share a holiday-themed electronic book via Twitter, Facebook or email. Recipients of these books can read them in a web-based emulation of the company's Kobo Glo reader. The campaign was developed in-house with website support from Playground of Toronto. The initiative will run until early January in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the US, the UK and the Netherlands.
