BRP expands Responsible Rider program

Bombardier Recreational Products has signed two three-year agreements with safety advocacy organizations Tread Lightly and RideSafe as part of its Responsible Rider program. The agreements are intended to promote the safe use of powersports and marine vehicles, as well as environmental protection and riding etiquette. Tread Lightly and BRP will develop online training programs that will be available in French, English and Spanish. RideSafe and BRP will work to educate young riders and their families about responsible riding through events at participating US schools.

“The Responsible Rider program was born out of our deeply held belief that when all riders look out for each other, engage in safe experiences and are mindful of the environment, they help build a more caring community and preserve our playgrounds for future generations,” said Anne-Marie LaBerge, chief marketing officer at BRP. “We are taking bold steps to encourage all riders to ride responsibly and are thrilled to welcome new partners to further our impact.”
