IAB Canada of Toronto has formed an agreement with ComScore and Kantar Media to produce a series of reports on Canadian online advertising trends. The reports will draw on data from the paid advertising tracking databases of the two companies. The first two reports focus on 2011 numbers. ComScore's Digital Advertising Report examines trends in its paid advertising data, as well as rankings of the top 10 advertisers and publishers online by display ad impressions and other information categories. Kantar Media's Canadian Online Ad Trends Analysis focuses on trends in ad type and size as well as issues of ad clutter. Future reports will be issues several times per year on a variety of topics. "This is a great initiative that shows collectively how IAB Canada and its members aim to help marketers understand and operate within the online competitive environment," said IAB Canada research director Steve Rosenblum.
