Google introduces street view for business in Canada
By Adnews Staff
Google has launched a new service in Canada that extends its "street view" technology to the insides of businesses. Businesses with a Google Places listing can employ a local photographer approved by Google to take a 360-degree interactive panoramic image of their location. The image will then appear on Google Maps and Google Places. Viewers can use the images to take a virtual tour of the business. The service has been introduced in cities including London, Kitchener, Ottawa, Windsor, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Vancouver and Victoria.
