Hydro-Québec has begun an advertising campaign for its The Electric Circuit chain of public recharging stations for electric vehicles. The campaign was developed by LG2 of Montreal, which also developed the chain's brand identity. The campaign consists of one 30-second television commercial and four 10-second ads tied to participating retailers who have installed charging stations in their parking lots. The creative focuses on how the stations can relieve electric vehicle users of worry about the range of their cars. The Electric Circuit currently consists of 30 stations in Quebec, with a planned expansion to 120 this summer.
