TC Media buys Edition Beauce

TC Media of Montreal has acquired Quebec community newspaper Édition Beauce. The paper, formerly know as Journal de Beauce-Nord, reaches 57,400 households in the Beauce, Les Etchemins and Lotbinière regions. The acquisition also includes the EditionBeauce.com website. No financial details are available. "Over the years, Journal de Beauce-Nord built a solid position in its communities and recently expanded to become Édition Beauce," said Serge Lemieux, vice-president of the newspaper division for Quebec and Ontario at TC Media. "We are delighted to be able to continue to work with the experienced team already in place, who are the primary architects of the paper's growth."
