Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal conducts Montreal First campaign

The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal has begun a marketing campaign called "Montreal First." The radio and online initiative is being conducted in association with Astral Media, Bell Canada, Hydro-Québec, Desjardins Group and Rio Tinto Alcan. "Through the campaign, the Board of Trade and its pillar sponsors are paying tribute to Montreal's innovation and creativity," said board president and CEO Michel Leblanc. "Today marks the beginning of the radio campaign with 30-second spots being broadcast over 13 weeks on NRJ, RockDétente and Boom FM inviting listeners to visit the website. These messages will support the billposting campaign, which has been in full swing since March 8." Visitors to the website at <http://www.montrealf1rst.com> are invited to submit ideas for innovations that can be used to promote the city. Social media exposure on sites including Facebook and Twitter are encouraging visitors to vote for their favourite submissions. The website was developed by Bell Web Solutions, while the radio campaign was created by Astral Media.
