Starcom MediaVest Group forms bidding system with Olive Media, TC Media

Starcom MediaVest Group has formed an association with online media companies Olive Media and TC Media to develop a Canadian private real time bidding marketplace. Through this agreement, Starcom clients will be able to bid on advertising inventory in French and English across Olive and TC properties. Olive Media represents approximately 80 sites attracting 17.6 million unique Canadian visitors monthly. These sites include NYTimes.com, Thestar.com, LaPresse.ca, AuFeminin.com, Allrecipes.com and People.com. Olive Media is a partnership between Torstar Digital and Square Victoria Digital Properties. TC Media represents approximately 1,000 sites reaching 13 million unique visitors per month in Canada. "Our clients are continually asking us to explore opportunities to drive efficient buying practices without compromising quality inventory or brand safety," said Raymond Reid, vice-president and digital group director at MediaVest Canada. "Not only is the content among the best available online anywhere, the technology platforms leveraged by TC Media and Olive Media that drive this real-time access are among the best in the world."
