Hill & Knowlton Strategies adds four

Hill & Knowlton Strategies has added three new staff members to its Quebec City office. Jean-Yves Julien has been hired as a special health and pharmaceutical advisor. He was previously head of the pharmacy department and general manager of the Sanatorium Bégin hospital. He was also co-ordinated procurement manager at Partagec. Marcel Tremblay has joined the agency as a special advisor. He was previously parliamentary secretary to the deputy prime minister and co-chair of the Senate Reform Committee, as well as Canadian government representative to the United Nations, NATO and the OECD. He was also a Progressive Conservative MP from 1984 to 1988. Martin Briand has been hired as public and government affairs director. He was previously a research assistant at the Hôpital Laval research centre and a kinesiologist at Université Laval. Sébastien Dhavernas has joined the agency's Montreal office as a special advisor. The actor, director and producer will work to raise the agency's visibility in the artistic and media sectors.
